Report on the Girls' School with a description of a wedding. By Lechler.

Lechler describes a journey to Tshing yen (Tshyang yen). He also mentions the disciples of Fung (Hung) siu then (p. 7) and Tshin, who had been baptized by Fung siu then.

Lechler's quarterly report on "The history of the village of the mosques". In his report L. mentions the resettlement of the village, after the inhabitants of the fast growing European settlement Victoria had brought complaints to the governor. On p. 20 he also describes the fate of a "squatter settlement", the squatters being forced to settle elsewhere, their huts having been destroyed by the police. See also No. 26, p. 11.

Lechler went to Lilong and Maham and reports on this journey. Here again he found an old man, who had been baptized by Guetzlaff. He also comments on Hanspach who is founding schools and baptizing people in BM territory.
