Schliesslich trat im November 1999 auch noch die Schweizerische Evangelische Nilland-Mission aus der KEM aus. (Hierzu Brief in den Korrespondenzen 14.01.03)  Zur Sanierung der KEM setzte der Vorstand des EHM und die Abgeordnetenversammlmung der KEM  im Dezember 1999 eine Task Force ein.
