The best are relatively easy to read, but in the worst cases scarcely a mark has been retained on the paper. Copies from Sep. 1891 to August 1910, beginning with F. Ziegler (to c. p. 160, 1895), passing into the hands of M. Hoch, L. Frohnmeyer (1898 pp.178-c.225, 1902), W. Bader (c.225 1907 to c. p.320, 1908) and P. Sengle. The volume seems to contain some letters to addressees in India, though there are also substantial documents addressed to the missionaries’ conferences in India or intended ultimately for reading in Basel.
