The label which is quoted here is a photocopy of a label which was evidently removed when the volume was rebound and renovated in the 1990s. This volume only partially corresponds to C-1.46, containing only the General Conference and the South Karnataka correspondence. North Karnataka correspondence is to be found in C-1.51. The amount of correspondence is nevertheless of the same order of magnitude as that found in C-1.46. This volume also shows one new organisational trait: where in previous volumes the documents were numbered within the individual sections, here they are numbered through the whole volume. It contains, indeed, 217 documents. For the first time a section exists for correspondence from Karkala, bound in between the sections for Udipi and Honowar.
