"Miscellaneous letters"

Most of them written in Ghana during World War I, some correspondence with colonial authorities. Amongst the documents is a copy of a speech by Sir F. G. Guggisberg on the events in Ghana 1920-1926 and the prospects for 1927/1928, touching on the "Education Work of the Missions 1900-27". The file also includes typed copies of: "The General Situation in Asante", by I. Bellon, 1926, 9 pages; "The Gold Coast Conference", 2 pages; and 2 letters by Schäfer and Bellon on plans for a mission hospital (1927/28), and a 6 pages letter by Hartenstein on a meeting with the Scottish mission, 1932.
