Nos. 55-80: The minutes of the annual coi ference held at Honyen Nov. 1909. Main points of discussion at this conference were: a) Tschongtshun no longer a main station. Miss Elsenhans to take over the girls' school as headmistress, with not a European missionary, but a catechist to serve the congregation. b) Better organisation of language studies for new missionaries with examinations and a special curriculum. c) Better discipline for the congregations (question of child betrothal). d) The upperland district to be divided into two districts, the East River and the Moi River district. e) On the self government and self support of the congregations booklet No. 73). f) Concerning the celebration of the birthday of Confucius
