Reports of the economic administration of the Basel Mission in India - 358 numbered pages of which 288 have been used. Foolscap-sized bound volume. Judging by the handwriting a compilation of fair copies made in Basel. The detailed list of contents at the beginning appears not to cover the last one-third of the volume completely. Documents are taken from this aspect of the Mission’s work in all three parts of its Indian field of operations. Apparently only reports dated 1859 and 1860 have been transcribed - intense detail (including tables and the ground plan of some plots of mission land). This volume ought to be looked at in conjunction with C-1.19, which brings together original reports on the "Oekonomie" of the Basel Mission in South India from the 1850s and 1860s.
