This is 2 MSS with separate pagination but written on the same quarto blue-tinted paper, the first 68 pp long, the second 136 pp long. Format: A-4. The first part is headed "Basawa, the secular founder of modern Lingayatism". The second is headed "Tschanna-Basewa, the spiritual founder of Lingayatism". At the end of the second part is a short note which says this is a summary of the Tschannabasewa-Purana, some parts of which have been translated into German by Ferdinand Kittel from an English translation by Würth.
