"Rhenius und die Missionsgesellschaft der englischen Kirche"

Bound volume, format somewhat smaller than A-4, 99 pp., all(?) in the same handwriting. The title page has the name "Hermann Gundert" at the top right-hand corner, and under the title information "Bristol-Stuttgart 1836". Inside the front cover someone has written "VI 1932 v. D. Gundert aus dem Archiv d. Calwer Vereinsbuch. Stg erhalten" - i.e. received in June 1932 from David Gundert. Had been in the archive of the Calwer Mission Association Bookshop in Stuttgart. Subtitle and titles of the four chapters indicate that this is an attempt to judge the state of the missionary enterprise by looking at the severe conflict in Tinnevelly (Tamil Nadu) involving Rhenius, a Berlin-trained member of the CMS staff: 1. Report on the Tinnevelly Mission (evidently compiled by Gundert); 2. Bishop Daniel Wilson from Calcutta; 3. Rhenius on the Episcopalian church; 4. The unification of all Christians according to Rhenius.
