Contents evidently removed from a loose-leaf file, some 5 cm thick. Condition: good File kept in the office of the BM Präses (in this case translated "Presidents"), Schosser and Lüthi. Some correspondence from 1913, but mostly wartime correspondence, in English, with British officials, and with other missionaries in India. Much routine correspondence about the whole range of administrative issues which came up because of the war. Much general correspondence about regulating the situation of German-speaking missionaries and the Basel Mission in wartime. The file has an alphabetical register, but it is not clear what categories of letter are filed under the individual key-words.
