Freshly bound, previously in the same state as C-5-4.4. A recent hand has numbered the right-hand pages, they total 200. There is no index. Condition: the circulars are in good condition, but many of the original letters from Basel are significantly or even badly damaged by ink, very illegible and in some cases disintegrating. This file originated in the office of the District Chairman of South Canara. It includes original letters from Basel, some turned into printed circulars. Documents exchanged between addressees in India are rare but not totally absent.
