Foolscap format record, with 684 numbered pages. Cover lost. Condition fairly good, though on a number of pages the writing on both sides is visible. The minutes up to the final expulsion of Basel Missionaries after the First World War cover the pp 1-616, the first minutes after the return of the Basel Mission are dated 1928 and start on p. 617. This is a major record of the attempt to re-estblish a stable administration by the Basel Mission in India after World War One.
