This thin (3.5 cm) file has no index, and is tightly packed......it also appears to be not simply a collection of minutes, but to include correspondence originated both in India and in Basel. It is not always immediately apparent why specific letters have been filed here, though they may well be linked to matters discussed in the various minutes. However it is evidently an important collection of documents from mission and indigenous church side for the years in question. NB at this time District Mission Councils included Indian as well as mission representatives.
