NB the old label on the spine gives 1899 as the terminal date, but this is a mistake. 500 numbered pages, with c. 14 unnumbered pages bound in before page 1. All pages used. No index. Letters of all kinds addressed to the personnel of the Mangalore station. NB A cursory search also turned up a number of letters addressed to the mission station in Kasergod (see also C-2.26).
