The Kanara District Synod heard reports on the different congregations, and discussed the statutes of the "Peikollekte Mission", which I (PJ) think must have been a mission fund from church members based on the smallest currency unit (parallel to the "Ha’penny Fund" of the Basel Mission in Europe). It also discussed the possible ways of increasing income from church lands (Kanara District Conference and Synod, document 47).
