Pastor Immanuel Soan’s Annual Report on the Balmatta congregation exists in its English original (Mangalore 103). Two other reports by indigenous pastors (on Jeppu and Madikerigudde) and by an Envagelist on his work in Mangalore exist only in German translation (Mangalore 105-107). Unusually 12 schools in Mangalore and district are listed by name in the index entries to two Annual Reports devoted to education (Mangalore 108-9).
