They had originally been recruited as soldiers for the German troops in Cameroon; No 36: Authenrieth urges the Mission's Directorate to consider founding mission stations further inland (e.g. in Bali); No 77: Minutes of the Missionaries1 "General Conference" in which inter al. the founding of a girls' school was discussed; Bethel: letters and reports from the Station at documents 78 - 137; Bethel, No 85 - No 113: a discussion of the plans for the building of a secondary school in Bonaduma with sketch maps, building plans and estimates; Bonaberi: letters and reports from the Station at Bonaberi, documents 138-149; No 138 and No 139: Scholten and Bohner on the attempt made by the former to intervene with the Colonial Government in the Buea War; No 148: a printed leaflet ("Dem Kollekteverein für die Basler Mission" vol. 191.
