One bound volume containing 209 documents divided into six sections: Diverse Akten betreffend Kamerunmission - miscellaneous documents concerning mission work in Cameroon, Documents 1-35: Mainly correspondence between missionaries and the Colonial Section of the German Foreign Office on the liquor trade in German colonies, (Nos 4-10, 23 and 33-35). No 4 consists of the Minutes of a Reichstag debate on 11th Feb. 1891 on trade in liquor with West and South-West Africa: and further of a debate on the work of missionaries from different missionary societies / congregations; No 1- No 3 were written by the German Baptist missionares Schewe and Miliard addressed to Inspector Oehler, and discussing the Problems between the Basel Mission and Baptists in Cameroon; No 18 is a letter from the Colonial Section of the German Foreign Office on the need for demarcation lines between the areas worked by the different missionary societies, especially to avoid clashes between Protestant and catholic missions; No 23 and No 30 also deal with this question; General-Präses und Ausschuss für Kamerun: letters and reports from the Mission's Local Chairman and Local Executive Committee, Documents 36 - 106. The main issues in these letters, written almost exclusively by Bohner are again problems with Baptists and the Roman Catholics; No 15 and No 16: Authenrieth and one Dr. Eckhardt discuss the possible reasons for the high mortality rate of Basel Missionaries in Cameroon. Dr. Eckhardt suggests that, apart from better living conditions, physical training should be made part of curriculum during the 6-year training in the Mission House in Basel; No 60 - No 63: Replies by Bohner and Scholten to accusations made in the Reichstag that members of the Basel Mission are exaggerating the consequences of the liquor trade; No 97 and No 101- No 103: mention of punitive expeditions to Aboland and Buea and the destruction of Buea; Bethel: letters and reports from the Station at Bethel, Documents 107-139; No 139: Annual Report of the Bethel Secondary School; Bonaberi- letters and reports from the Station at Bonaberi, documents 140-9; No 149: Scholten mentions (p.8) another planned punitive expedition which was put off after his Interventi on. He also reports discussions with the Chiefs in Bakundu especially Chief Bebe who was willing to become a Christian and to leave the losango (secret society); Mangamba: letters and reports from the Station at Mangamba, documents 150-168; Victoria: letters and reports from the Station at Victoria, documents 169-209
