Description of the cultivation work buildings and farm at Akropong. Craftsmen: Black smith, shoemaker, carpenter, tailor. Domestic animals: goats, sheep, hens, ducks, Guinea fowls, pidgeons and bees. A dog and a monkey. Aburi: coffee and arrowroot. Abokobi: possibilities there. Ussu: garden (pp 8-9). Badagry horses might be kept, domestic animals kept, no pigs (there are plenty in town). Good stock of craftsmen in town. Plenty traders. Salt made at Teshi (p 10). About the school: 100 children on the roll-only 50 come. Always a quarter or a third of the pupils sick. Candidates for the training institution. He would like to teach Hebrew or Greek to one of the boys, the other brethren don't want this. Teshi people urge for a missionary.
