Reaction to the saying of Inspector Josenhans: "It is true that nobody should be blamed for running away from death in Africa, you cannot command anybody to go into death and yet no battle is won, if the warrior tries to escape death". This is true but unfair to the brethren here: Riis returned only when his presence as a sick man here was only a hinderance to the work of the other brethren. Don't be unfair on him. Abuti should be occupied by three brethren again. Teshi needs a missionary too. Christiansborg mission house should be enlarged or a new house bought. The spelling rules of Mr. Henry Venn shall be introduced for both vernaculars. The school book prepared by R.N. Riis should be respelled, either by Widmann or another careful reader, perhaps brother Christaller.
