The meeting constituted itself and adopted the name "The alliance between Christian missionary brethren connected with different churches engaged in missionary operations on the Gold and Slave Coasts”. Question 2: Remarriages of people divorced on accord of adultery of the partners is lawful. Question 3: Employment of paid agents who have left a society by another society. Resolution I: People dismissed for moral failures or insubordination are not to be employed by another society without the permission of the missionary by whom they had been formerly employed. Resolution II: Other agents wanting to leave the employment of one society for that of another should have their case carefully examined by representatives of both societies. Resolution III: Any disagreements arising from such deliberations shall be referred to the annual conference of the union. Question 4: The meetings shall usually be held at Accra, British or Danish.
