Sad news that it was proved and confessed by Thompson, that he had committed adultery several times with several girls and had aborted a girl pregnant by him. Schiedt had done his best for one year adhortating and pleading - in vain. Thompson salary is still paid, he has removed to a house in town. Riis is partly to blame, since before Thompson’s adultery began,Riis had mocked him and accused him. Schiedt advocates that if Thompson repents, he may perhaps be readmitted on trial. Riis has an illegitimate child in Christiansborg (?). Difficulties of the newly baptised in Christiansborg because of the sending away of the wives. Halleur here with wife. Schiedt has no good impression of him and her. He used Gossner just to get out to the Coast again.
