Arrival in Christiansborg: Not Christian, Sunday has no services, only the Mulatto teacher is said to read a sermon occasionally. The Governor a friend of missions. Children here do not respect their parents. He teaches the West Indian children. Long for a proper school. Asks to send two books (titles mentioned) for the teaching of English.
