Description
Parts printed in Heidenbote 1843, pp 26b-27a. Not printed: Passage from Antigua to Jamaica on a decrepit steamer where the main beam collapsed, sails dropped down and heavily bruised the ships cook. The journey took 10 instead of five days, accommodation was poor, only three plates for all the party etc. Mr. Miller and family on board helpful. Cheapness is not everything. The landing boat lets in a lot of water. About schools in the West Indian Islands: He did not know that he should study the Mico school system. He visited several schools (follows description).
