Description
Still no letters from home. Civil war with bloodshed in Adum. Sent messengers to Akropong, that the missionary was guilty, that he could not come to Akropong. Riis in order to remove all suspicion, has gone to Ussu for a few weeks. The reason for the civil war: Ado Dankwa committed suicide by taking poison. Riis had started a little school with four boys, hopes to be able to expand it when he goes back. Governor Mörck died on the 19th March. The Government is correct towards Riis, but he fears that they really do not want missionary work.
