"Vorstand / Executive Board"

Der Vorstand war der Nachfolger des Komitees. Gemäss der Verfassung von 1994 besteht der Vorstand aus dem beziehungsweise der Vorsitzenden der Abgeordnetenversammlung sowie aus dem beziehungsweise der Vorsitzenden der Basler Mission Deutscher Zweig sowie aus 10 bis 16 von der Abgeordnetenversammlung gewählten Mitglieder. Der Vorstand ist unter anderem verantwortlich für die Leitung der Basler Mission sowie für die theologische und inhaltliche Ausrichtung des Werks. Er hat folgende Aufgaben: Verabschiedung von Jahresbericht, Jahresrechnung und Budget zuhanden der Abgeordnetenversammlung; Genehmigung der Dienst- und Gehaltsordnung sowie des Stellenplans, Errichtung von Stiftungen und Gründung von Vereinen zur Erfüllung besonderer Aufgaben; Abschluss von Kooperationsverträgen mit Partnerinstitutionen; Zusammenarbeit mit den Vereinen und Komitees. The executive board was the successor of the committee In accordance with the 1994 constitution, the Executive Board consists of the Chairman of the General Assembly, the Chairman of the Basel Mission German Branch and 10 to 16 members elected by the General Assembly. Among other things, the Board is responsible for the management of the Basel Mission and for the theological and content-related orientation of the organisation.
