Bottomley, Lawrence Jones - also in the capacity of a lawyer, H.G. Bushe and Amery), the Director of the Scottish Mission in Edinburgh (Rev. Frank Ashcroft), with the Commonwealth Trust Ltd. and the editors of the Times. Wilhelm Preiswerk-Imhoff übernahm das Präsidium der MHG 1895 von seinem Vater Eduard Preiswerk in zweiter Generation. Eduard Preiswerk hatte das Amt 1864 von Ulrich Zellweger übernommen, nachdem er zuvor im Missionskomitee tätig gewesen war. Wilhelm Preiswerk-Imhoff hielt das Amt bis zu seinem Tod von 1938. Vor seiner Funktion als MHG-Präsident hatte er als Sekretär des Missionsinspektoren die Gelegenheit, zahlreiche Standorte der Basler Mission sowie der Handelsgesellschaft vor Ort kennenzulernen. Wilhelm Preiswerk-Imhoff took over the presidency of the MHG in 1895 from his father Eduard Preiswerk in second generation. Eduard Preiswerk had taken over the office from Ulrich Zellweger in 1864, after having previously been a member of the mission committee. Wilhelm Preiswerk-Imhoff held the office until his death in 1938. Before becoming MHG President, he had the opportunity, as Secretary to the Mission Inspector, to become acquainted with numerous locations of the Basel Mission as well as the Trading Company on site.
