Werner Burkhard-Wuhrmann vetrat während dem Zweiten Weltkrieg in der vom Verband der Schweizerishen Transit- und Welthandelsfirmen gegründeten Not- und Kampfgemeinschaft die Interessen der UHG. Ab 1956 war W. Burkhard-Wuhrmann zudem Mitglied des BHG-Verwaltungsrats. During the Second World War, Werner Burkhard-Wuhrmann represented the interests of the UHG in the Emergency and Combat Association founded by the Association of Swiss Transit and World Trade Firms. From 1956 W. Burkhard-Wuhrmann was a member of the BHG Board of Directors.
