Concerning teacher Oforidee of Kukurantumi. Ata was wanting him to leave mission employment on the strength of having supported him for a year in the Wesleyan School in Cape Coast after he had voluntarily left the Middle School in Akropong. The situation was precipitated by the arrival of a bill for £30 from the school on Ata'a return from Lagos. The mission can see no alternative to letting Oforidee go; and acknowledge his wish - in the belief that service with Ata is liable to be of short duration – to be able to return to mission employment eventually is a fair one.
