Reports the same information as Kromer (see No 12), also that the-chief of Kukurantumi (Ampaw) had been in charge of a force of 1000 men on the western frontier of Akim. He had been able to send a message that only the Asante rearguard stood south of the Beremi. He also offers a re-calculation of the gold dust loss - putting it at 1 franc per day, £18 per year.
