It includes a biography of Phil Kwabi. He was born a house slave, his mother having been stolen away from Akudome in Krepi by the Akwamus and sold to Akropong. (His birth date is given as 1834-6). He was given to Mader to bring up, entering the Catechist's Institute in 1851. He was able to buy his mother out of slavery, as she did not want to stay in Akropong, and she has been baptised since in Anum. He also bought his brothers and sisters out of slavery.
