For images created before 1900 and images created after 1900, where Mission 21 is the copyright holder it is possible to order high-resolution digitals for a fee. The fee is 60 Swiss Francs per image and 150 Swiss Francs per image if redigitalization is required. Please note that the images may not be used for commercial advertising or in any context of a racial or sexist nature. For websites or blogs no high-resolution images will be provided. The images may not be modified and can only be used as a whole.

We have made any effort to trace the ownership of all copyrighted images. Due to their age a large part of the images are no longer protected by copyright and are thus in the public domain. Copyright of protected works are transferred to Mission 21 or Mission 21 has obtained permission from rightholders to publish the images.
If, despite our efforts, we have published a copyrighted image without having obtained the rights to do so, we kindly ask the rights holders to contact us. Upon request, we will remove the image from the website.
